The first work in the new series Cross, twist consists of a bobbin-laced round tablecloth measuring 120 cm in diameter. The lace is submerged in the sludge of the Limfjord, where dead, decaying algae cling to the gaps in the pattern and stain the cotton thread.

The piece is the first in a new series of five works where the technically demanding and time-consuming craft is dyed using local, human-made sources of pollution.
